Is your skin rough or dull? Dermaplane treatments are an easy, cost-effective way to enjoy a deep exfoliation. They can be done alone or prior to other services.
Skin is made of layers known as the epidermis, dermis, and subcutaneous tissue. Our skin is constantly changing. As new cells grow beneath the surface and push outward, dead skin cells break away from the epidermis and fall off. As we age, the regeneration process slows, which can leave skin looking dull, rough, and dry. Additionally, the buildup of dead skin cells can lead to excess oil, clogged pores, and acne.

How Does it Work?
Dermaplane treatments exfoliate the epidermis, therefore encouraging the dermis to produce new collagen. As a bonus, it also removes the fine vellus hairs, or peach fuzz, from the face resulting in smooth, fresh-feeling skin. To perform the service, your aesthetician will gently stroke the surface of your face with a scalpel while holding the skin taut.

Dermaplane Candidates
Dermaplaning is often done prior to chemical peels, laser treatments, or SkinPen as it allows for deeper penetration of the skin, thus increasing their effectiveness. It’s also great for pregnant or nursing women as an exfoliation alternative to chemical peels. Plus it can be done on all skin types! Dermaplane treatments can be done every 4-6 weeks.
Dermaplane is a simple, non-invasive treatment with no downtime.
