A Liquid Facelift is a non-surgical procedure that utilizes a combination of injectable options to sculpt, contour, and lift areas of the face.
As we age, most women experience a loss of volume and skin elasticity that can lead to wrinkles, lines, and folds. The natural aesthetic curves begin to flatten and the face deflates and declines. A non-surgical Liquid Facelift can be undertaken to accomplish any of the following:
- Gentle lift of individual (or overall) facial features
- Reduced wrinkles, creases, line or folds
- Restoration of natural, curved facial contours
- A more rested, energetic look
- A friendlier smile
*Individual results may vary
How Does a Liquid Facelift Work?
In some patients, the goal of a non-surgical Liquid Face Lift procedure is to lift the entire face. In others, the goal is to lift or contour specific facial features. For example, under eye bags and dark circles can be masked by using Liquid Facelift techniques; eyes can be opened up and lids lifted; jowls can be lifted and diminished; natural shape can be restored to flattened cheeks or temple areas; corners of the mouth can be lifted; and bumps on the nose can be hidden.
What Treatments Are Involved in a Liquid Facelift?
A Liquid Facelift is a technique for injecting advanced dermal fillers, such as JUVEDERM® and Voluma®, sometimes in combination with Botox® or Xeomin® to lift and contour facial features. Each of the dermal fillers has unique attributes that work in their own special way to rejuvenate specific areas of the face. For example, we have wonderful results using Voluma® in the cheeks as it has a larger molecule and is effective in restoring the youthful apple shape to the area.
In most patients, the results last one to two years, depending on the products used and the facial area treated.
